How to Report a Claim

Please follow the below steps to report  a claim:

  1. Contact your broker right away. You or your broker should then notify us immediately at:

  2. Accept all papers without comment. Do not admit liability or try to blame someone. Let’s wait until we have all the facts to decide who is responsible.
  3. Gather your documentation. Be sure to include the following items in your initial report:
    • Your Company name, address, telephone number and the person to contact
    • Your policy number
    • The date, time and location of the situation
    • The name of the person or entity making the claim
    • The amount of demand
    • Any lawsuit papers or legal proceedings
  4. Remember to contact your claims representative assigned to your claim before you attend any conferences about the claim.
  5. Do not sign or accept releases for anyone without approval from your claims representative.
