TechVantage - E&O for Technology Firms

TechVantage, Schinnerer's E&O program for technology professionals, is designed for small technology firms and professionals like custom programmers, data processors, system designers, web designers, value added resellers (VARs) and internet service providers. See a more complete list of the professionals we insure.

TechVantage now covers computer hardware design & manufacturing firms who are involved in manufacturing computers or mainframes in some capacity. Get in touch with our program contacts for more details.

TechVantage can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your firm. We offer two levels of coverage:

  • Broad Form Policy
The Broad Form Policy provides, in addition to E&O, coverage for copyright and trademark infringement, independent contractors, punitive damages (where insurable by law), unauthorized access and introduction of a computer virus.

  • Basic Form Policy
The Basic Form Policy provides the same E&O protection as the broad form policy but does not cover copyright infringement, independent contractors, or punitive damages. Since many small firms do not require the coverage under the broad form policy, the basic policy is a great one for small or start-up firms. It provides excellent coverage at a reduced premium and deductible.

See program highlights.

TechVantage is written on a non-admitted basis.
